Front Cover on HAIR Magazine
On a recent shoot working with Umberto Giannini for HAIR Magazine, we shot a hair / fashion story called 'Winter White'. To our delight, one of the images has been placed on the cover for December 2012!
The styling and make-up worked out amazingly, thanks to make-up artist Maddie Austin and stylist Shay McCarthy-Symes. Maddie also has an interview in the magazine, as the editor comes 'backstage' to find out how she created the make-up looks. All in all, we had a fun day and came away with a great little collection for the Christmas period.

Marcello Moccia's BHA 2012 Finalist Collection
Reigning North Western winner, Marcello Moccia produced this stunning collection to defend his title in 2012. This collection has been admired by many hairdressers, due to it's unique concept and fashion styling. Well done once again to all the team! Looking forward to next year.

Charles Douek nominated for BHA Newcomer 2012
Congratulations goes to Charles Douek who has been nominated as a finalist in the British Hairdressing Awards Newcomer category this year with our photographic collection. Charles is the youngest member of the Royston Blythe Art Team but as this achievement demonstrates, he is talented far beyond his years! As always, the competition is fierce and Charles' collection is one of only six collections in the UK to be selected for the scrutiny of the judges.

Andrew Mulvenna makes Hair Awards 2012 Finals
Great news! My client Andrew Mulvenna has made it through to the finals of the British Hair Awards (BHA) 2012 with our new collection which we shot earlier this year. The collection is one of just six that have been chosen for the category "Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year". Due to the strict guidelines of the BHA competition, we have been unable to publish the images until now. Hope you like them!

Brilliant news for the Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa, as they find out that one of the images we shot earlier in the year has been nominated for the Your Hair Image of the Year Award. Stuart Holmes said,
"We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted by Your Hair for their Image of the Year competition. Our image was created by Art Director Fi and Creative Director Jo and has already been featured across the media, including a front cover on Hairdressers Journal International (HJ). To now be shortlisted for Image of the Year 2012 is fabulous."
